Coldplay

Always interesting to come across a thoughtful article on music. Jon Pareles in today's New York Times takes Coldplay apart. I can't comment on it because I have ignored the band. Radiohead I love, U2 less so, and these were named as prime influences on Coldplay's sound and music, so you would think I would have at least taken the effort to hear this band. But I haven't. Perhaps I will now.
